Original Air Date: March 11th, 2001
Synopsis: Yves tips the trio off to the murder of a renowned hacker, who'd just recieved a million dollars from a charity headed by one James Bond, who also coaches a blind football team. Turns out Bond has been set up as the patsy in an international arms deal incident, involving the shipping of toxic gas to a former Soviet republic for use in its civil war. Meanwhile, the Lone Gumen are having severe money problems, especially in regards to the publication of their next issue. When Jimmy agrees to fund the newspaper, they make him an official member of the team. (Stephen Snedden joins the cast as Jimmy Bond in this episode.)

Notes:
- The character Toshiro is probably named after the famous Japanese actor, Toshiro Mifune, who played samurai, ronin, and tough guys in almost every Akira Kurosawa movie ever made, including the popular flims Seven Samurai and Yojimbo. The opening sequence with Toshiro and the Japanese businessman is an homage to the sci-fi/action movie "The Matrix."
- This episode is our first glance inside of the Lone Gunmen's 1969 VW Microbus, which is tricked out with an amazing array of surveillance equipment, including a periscope! The plates are of Maryland registry, TSD 596.
- According to one computer screen, this episode took place on and around July 9, 1999. This is most likely a mistake considering the show didn't premiere until March 2001, and the pilot itself wasn't even filmed until March of 2000.
- "Bond, Jimmy Bond" is a take on the famous saying "Bond, James Bond" to which the famous spy character James Bond often introduces himself.
- Hiro Kanagawa played Dr. Yonechi in "The X-Files" episode "Synchrony," and Peter Tanaka was a vulcanology student in "Firewalker."
- The tune "Switchblade" by Link Wray was used in this episode.
- Jimmy Bond's car bears New York plates MODIV 8.
